Meet Our Guests: Karen and Jim

 

Marijean has two sisters: Marcia and Karen. Marcia, as you may recall, married Nick in April of this year. Karen married Jim on July 23, 1983! (Side note: Marijean was the same age at Karen and Jim’s wedding as Caroline will be at ours!). Karen and Jim have been gracious about us stealing their wedding anniversary, so be sure to wish them well at the wedding because it was THEIR special day first.

Karen and Jim (pictured above on their last visit to Charlottesville!) live in Geneseo, Illinois, with Jim commuting to Chicago for most of the week. The amount of traveling these guys are doing this year is astonishing! Between trips to Iowa, Michigan and Florida, we’re delighted they’re coming to Virginia to join us for our wedding weekend fun!
