Meet our Guests: Chris and Cathy

Marijean has known Chris Pounds since he was born! (Fun facts: As a toddler, Chris had the cutest laugh, ever and as a little guy was obsessed with the movie E.T.) The son of Marijean’s sister Marcia, Chris is one of two nephews that were born when Marijean was still in high school. Chris and his girlfriend Cathy are New York City architects who will no doubt be sneaking off to Monticello and Montpelier while in Charlottesville. (Chris has been drawing constantly ever since he was big enough to hold a pencil.)

Chris grew up in south Florida and moved to New York for college and just never left! We were lucky enough to spend some time with Chris and Cathy in Florida this April for Nick and Marcia’s wedding. We hope you enjoy meeting these bright and talented two and put in a word for them to consider moving to Charlottesville some day!
