Meet Charlotte Kendrick

Ok, Charlotte Kendrick isn’t coming to our wedding. And that makes us sad because she is amazing.  But she has very generously shared the music to her very beautiful song Thank You so that it can be sung at the wedding, as well as putting together a series of videos showing how to play it in case we wanted to go that route.  That makes her an honorary guest.

We cannot thank her enough for the joy that we’ve gotten from her music, and from the generosity she has shown in helping to make it part of our wedding. If you have not yet had the pleasure of hearing her music you owe it to yourself to do that.

Charlotte Kendrick writes personal Americana-Folk music reminiscent of storytelling singer/songwriters like Patty Griffin and John Prine.  She performs with her musical partner and producer, Dan Rowe. After teaching herself to write songs while serving in the Peace Corps, Charlotte emerged on the New York Folk scene in 2003.  Over the next several years, she toured nationally, released three albums, and won countless accolades from critics and fans alike. With her upcoming fourth album, “Worth the Wait”, she continues to pursue her musical goal: To write songs that mean something to someone. Charlotte and Dan live in Hopewell, NJ, with their three children.
